Publish your website on Aruba
The simplest all-Italian route, with phone support. Great if you also got the domain here: domain, hosting and site in one place.

Before you start. Unzip the file you downloaded: you get a folder with index.html, _astro, img, fonts and more. When a guide says "upload the site", it means everything inside that folder — the files and subfolders, not the folder that contains them.
- Activate a Linux hosting plan on Aruba. Go to
hosting.aruba.it, pick a Linux hosting plan (the cheapest is fine) and complete the purchase. - Find the FTP details. In the Aruba panel → Hosting → FTP management. Note:
FTP server, Username and Password. - Download FileZilla. A free program to upload files:
filezilla-project.org → "FileZilla Client" → install. - Connect. Open FileZilla, enter Host, Username, Password, Port 21, then Quickconnect.
- Open the public folder. On the right (the server) open the
www folder (sometimes htdocs). - Upload the site. On the left (your computer) open the unzipped site folder, select everything inside it (Ctrl+A) and drag it into
www. - Open your site in the browser: your website is live.
Not comfortable with FTP? Aruba also has a browser File Manager: open www and drag files like on a USB stick.
