Why do you show me the old part instead of just fixing the car?
Because otherwise you have no way to know what was actually wrong. We take out the worn part, put it in your hands, and explain what broke and why. Then you decide, knowing exactly what you're paying for.
Will you replace a whole assembly when only one part is worn?
No. That's the exact thing that gets to us about some garages. If only a bush has gone, we replace the bush, not the whole suspension arm. You only pay for what's actually broken.
My car pulls to one side or feels loose on the road, what does that usually mean?
Most of the time it's suspension — Nairobi roads wear out shocks and bushes fast. Bring it in and we'll check before it turns into a brake or steering problem.
How do I know what repair can wait and what can't?
We'll tell you straight, part by part. Some wear is fine to leave for a few months, some isn't safe to drive on. We separate the two every time so you can plan and budget.
Who's actually going to work on my car?
Our small team off Mombasa Road, including two apprentices learning on the job. Every repair is checked before the car goes back to you.
