Who's behind Northline IT
I fixed computers out of my apartment through university, then registered the business in 2015. It's still a small team by choice: three of us, covering small offices across Toronto and the surrounding area.
The call we get most is always the same shape. A five-person office, a server nobody remembers setting up, and the one person who did has already left the company. We go in, work out what's there, and document every single thing we touch.
What annoys me about this trade is providers who quietly keep the access, so the client can never really leave. We don't work that way. Every password, every setting, every account we create is written down and handed to you. It's your network, not ours.
